Who can join?
Membership of AITPM is open to anybody with an interest, qualifications, or experience in the field of transport planning or traffic management.
There are a range of membership types to suit levels of experience and qualifications, including for students and retired practitioners. Organisational subscriptions are also available for Government Subscribers and Corporate Subscribers.
The grades of Individual Membership each have varying requirements for interest or experience. The grades include
- Student
- Associate – for early career professionals
- Member – for people experienced in transport fields
- Affiliate – for people interested in transport
- Fellows – for people who have made a longstanding commitment to the industry and the institute
