Andy Johnston | Director, Transport Advisory | Urbis QLD
Andy leads Urbis’ delivery of transport projects in Queensland and has over 20 years’ experience in the provision of transport planning and traffic engineering advice to both public and private sector clients.
Andy been involved with the masterplanning of precinct his whole career and has a keen interest in how these precinct work. With complex sites where multiple uses are planned in stages over many years the management of traffic, parking, connectivity and servicing can be complex and needs the expertise of someone with Andy’s experience
Dr Supun Perera | Senior Research Fellow, ITLS | University of Sydney
Supun is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies (ITLS) at the University of Sydney. He is currently leading the TRIPS project that is developing Australia’s first national land use trip generation survey database.
Supun is a transportation engineer with over 15 years of industry experience across private and public sectors.
Before joining ITLS, he was an Associate Director in the Transport Advisory team at Urbis. He has also held senior transportation planner roles at Stantec and Transport for NSW.
Supun holds a bachelor’s degree with first-class honours in Civil engineering from the University of Auckland in New Zealand, a master’s degree in transportation engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and a PhD in transportation network modelling from the University of Sydney
