Who can join?
Membership of AITPM is open to anybody with an interest, qualifications, or experience in the field of transport planning or traffic management.
There are a range of membership types to suit levels of experience and qualifications, including for students and retired practitioners. Organisational subscriptions are also available for Government Subscribers and Corporate Subscribers .
The grades of Individual Membership each have varying requirements for interest or experience. The grades include
- Student
- Associate – for early career professionals
- Member – for people experienced in transport fields
- Affiliate – for people interested in transport
- Fellows – for people who have made a longstanding commitment to the industry and the institute
