This event is hosted by the City of Parramatta Council.

The City of Parramatta Council invites AITPM NSW Branch and the Young Professional Network to their bike tour of Parramatta.  This tour is a pilot event and an opportunity to experience first-hand dedicated cycleways such as the Parramatta Valley Cycleway and the M4 Shared Path and an opportunity to learn more about active transport investment. The tour will stop at key locations to discuss facilities that are new, proposed and under construction.

The tour will start at a central meeting point in Parramatta and is around 20km in length with an opportunity to have lunch after at the participant's own cost. There will be short breaks to obtain food or drinks along the way.

You will be required to provide Emergency Contact Information and additional information when registering for this event. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Please note you do NOT need to own a bike to join this tour and a limited number of regular and e-bikes can be pre-arranged for hire at own cost.
• This tour will be guided for those that are new to riding in Sydney however it is recommended that participants have some prior experience and comfort riding a bike.

• If travelling from Sydney CBD, you may want to return by ferry from Rydalmere Wharf, with hourly ferry departures and takes around an hour.

Cycle tour attendees will be covered under City of Parramatta’s Public Liability Policy.
