About this event
The AITPM SA Branch and Transport Modelling Network (TMN) is proud to provide this special workshop event.
The Department for Infrastructure and Transport has recently released their SIDRA guidelines for SIDRA 9. This is an opportunity for practitioners (experienced and aspiring) to come along and learn about the new guidelines and how to apply them when building and calibrating a SIDRA 9 model.
Peter Herpich from Network Management Services will present on the guidelines.
The presentation will focus on the recent updates to the guidelines, and how it applies to signalised / unsignalised intersections and roundabouts. Common issues that come up during modelling will also be addressed. At the end of the presentation, there will be a Q&A session to ask questions regarding the guidelines and its application. So if you have any queries or concerns, please come along to ask your question. This is an important opportunity for you all to have dialogue with the Department so we can all help make the modelling process smoother. If questions are not able to be answered on the day, we will send out a follow up set of answers to those who attended.
The event will be held on the 25th of May from 9.30am-11.30am. It will be a hybrid event where you can attend in person at the SMEC office (workshop sponsors) or on line (spots are limited in person). Light refreshments will be provided.
We look forward to seeing you there for this fantastic learning opportunity where we will also discuss further developments in the modelling space in South Australia.
