Join fellow young professionals and students involved in the traffic and transport industry for the AITPM YPN Online Networking Event. This lunchtime session will include two speakers in the industry discussing their careers, experiences as well as their tips for networking with industry colleagues. The speaker presentations will be followed by questioning time as well as small group networking activities. A short online poll will be sent out prior to the event to help guide this session.

Industry leaders will speak at this event to share their experiences and insights in both public and private sectors. Speakers include:

First Speaker – Angela Moore – Transport Business Group Leader
Angela recently joined GHD in Tasmania as Manager of Transport and brings over 20 years of experience in traffic engineering and transport planning – in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Most recently Angela has been working in the local government sector as Manager of Traffic at City of Hobart and has extensive experience in the planning and delivery of urban road safety, traffic calming and vulnerable road user improvement projects.

Second Speaker – Mark Rowland – Transport Consulting Market Leader
Mark Rowland is Arup's Consulting Transport Market Leader (Australasia). He has extensive senior management experience in transport management and city shaping initiatives here in Victoria and internationally. Before joining Arup he worked for VicRoads as the Manager of Major Tram and Bus Projects, and prior to that for Transport for London. In recent times he has been heavily involved in future mobility projects, including: delivering three automated vehicle trials, working with the Singaporean Government on a new town development that enables AVs, and two trackless tram studies in Australia. He loves transport but is most driven by creating great places, innovation and all things public transport.
