About this event
Following on from our successful road pricing symposium at this year’s AITPM National Conference please join us for a webinar to discuss what the challenges and opportunities are for road pricing in Australia. Professor David Hensher AM will discuss the status quo, the potential objectives of road pricing reform and the opportunity a real-world experiment for road pricing would provide Australia.
The webinar will be a technical seminar followed by a Q and A discussion. AITPM members will be invited to submit questions before the event

Professor David Hensher AM | Founding Director of the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies at The University of Sydney
David Hensher is Professor of Management, and Founding Director of the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies (ITLS): The Australian Key Centre of Teaching and Research in Transport Management in The Business School at The University of Sydney. ITLS is ranked under Excellence in Research Australia (ERA) at level 5 ('well above world standards') and 10th in the world in its field of expertise. Educated in Kenya, East Africa (Parklands, Lord Delamere), England (Lindfield, Oxford) and Australia (UNSW). In January 2023, David was appointed a Member (AM) of the Order of Australia (OA).David has published and presented extensively on the topic of road pricing. He will challenge the audience to consider how move the debate forward to real action and change for our communities.
