About this event
The AITPM have assembled a panel of three speakers from the largest transport infrastructure projects in Victoria to provide an update on their progress.
The past five years have seen some of the largest city shaping transport projects being constructed in the City’s history. As some of the projects near their completion, the AITPM are hosting three key speakers to provide an update on their respective projects and to discuss their experiences on some of the challenges and positive outcomes encountered along the way.

Paul Smith is the Deputy Director of Traffic and Network Planning at the West Gate Tunnel Project. Paul is a highly accomplished civil engineering technican and manager. With 30 years experience with Victorian State and Local Government, Paul has significant expertise in the fields of major transport infrastructure project development. appraisal and delivery, traffic management, transport planning, environmental and sustainability management, place management, stakeholder management and civil project management. . Matthew Hill | North East Link Project
Matthew Hill is the Package Director for the Southern Package of the North East Link Project . Matthew has more than 20 years' experience leading multi-disciplined teams in rapid changing environments. Matthew has held numerus Director, Committee and Board roles across various sectors and industries. He has led and motivated nationwide and international teams, managed P&L for business divisions including delivery of major and mega projects (value excess $2bn).

Luke Billingham is the Head of Disruptions Planning | Network Integration at Metro Trains Melbourne.
