About this event
AITPM NSW Committee is pleased to invite you to attend our Annual Branch Meeting (ABM) 2023 and accompanying technical event, presented by Urbis, on Thursday, 13 July. This event will provide attendees with valuable insights and learning opportunities.
Following the ABM proceedings, Graham McCabe, Director at Urbis, will deliver a presentation entitled "Understanding how and why people move". The presentation aims to equip transport practitioners with the knowledge and tools to make informed planning decisions that effectively consider movement and place.
Urbis has been working across a range of projects using our Human Movement Data system to understand how and why people are moving around. From fast food drive-thru, which schools parents choose to send their children to, and student accommodation to the entirety of Inner West Council, we have been combining our understanding of people and place to help decision-makers understand how and why people move. This presentation outlines some of the more interesting findings and challenges of applications of data at a large scale.
Agenda:
- Welcome, attendees and apologies.
- Ordinary Business: Report of previous year's performance (end 31 March 2023)
- Presentation by Graham McCabe and Q + A
- Thank you.
We look forward to seeing you online!
For any enquiries, please contact Ganesh Vengadasalam
