You are invited to this AITPM NSW Branch seminar designed to provide practitioners with an update on the development of the new revisions of the Australian Standard 2890 Series (parking).
The interactive session will cover:
- An update on the development of AS 2890.6 and AS/NZS 2890.1 from the co-authors/ practitioners of the standards;
- A discussion about the existing issues and matters that need to be considered in future updates.

Oleg Sannikov, Director of TEF Consulting
Oleg is a qualified Traffic Engineer with over 37 years of experience in the industry. In his professional work, Oleg has overseen many projects in all sectors including retail, commercial, residential, entertainment and transport. Experienced in many facets of the profession, one of Oleg’s particular interest is in the design of car parking areas and loading/unloading facilities. Oleg regularly provides Expert Witness services to the NSW Land & Environment Court, NSW Supreme Court and local courts. Oleg is the current President of the AITPM NSW branch and is a member of the working group for a review of the AS/NZS 2890 series.
Andrew Morse, Traffic Engineer at ptc
Andrew is a qualified Traffic Engineer with over 25 years of experience in the industry, is a member of the AITPM and is a co-author of the AS2890. Originally trained as a Civil Engineering Technician with Ove Arup & Partners in Bristol, England, Andrew specialised in Traffic Engineering when he joined Pinnacle Transportation in 1998. In 1999 Andrew relocated to Sydney and since 2000 he has worked as a Senior Traffic Engineer. During this time Andrew has overseen many projects in all sectors including retail, commercial, residential, entertainment and transport (airports etc.). Andrew regularly provides Expert Witness services to the Land & Environment Court NSW and has provided his opinions and expertise in a number of forums including CPD training for Architects and local radio.
