About this event
The QLD Branch hosted networking drinks and mini-golf from 5:00pm to 6pm before sitting down for dinner to hear from guest speakers. This year's speakers are Trent Williams from Stantec and Dr Eslam Hassan from Bitzios Consulting.
We also welcome you to continue networking after dinner.

Trent Williams | Stantec
Trent is passionate about creating people-focused transport solutions. As the Future Mobility Leader for Stantec, Trent takes a forward-thinking approach to help clients across Australia and New Zealand understand, prepare for and take advantage of emerging technologies and trends.
Trent will discuss how we need to move beyond ‘Predict & Provide’ to unlock these future mobility opportunities, aligned with the Gold Coasts future vision of being a smart, connected and liveable City. This will include how we can be support and nurture through the three development horizons (i.e. never done before through to business as usual applications).
Dr Eslam Hassan | Bitzios Consulting
Eslam is a road safety expert with a strong transportation engineering background. He is experienced in developing strategy and road safety policy with more than 8 years of experience in the road safety field. He conducted several research studies on active transport users including personalised mobility devices users and evaluating priority crossing facilities in QLD.
Eslam will present on a recent research study to assess the effectiveness of priority crossing facilities in improving road safety in QLD.
