About this event
The Healthy Active by Design website was created by the Heart Foundation to provide best-practice, evidence-based resources and guidance to support industry professionals and decision makers to create more walkable, liveable neighbourhoods for heart health. It is a unique digital toolkit that incorporates physical movement and health considerations into design outcomes. The toolkit includes modules on walkability in less advantaged areas and healthy active ageing.

Anna Gurnhill | Senior Active Living Officer | Heart Foundation
Anna Gurnhill is Senior Active Living Officer at the Heart Foundation. She has a background in active transport and cycle tourism and has worked at all levels of government as well as the private sector. As a cultural geographer, she is passionate about the connections between people and places. She works to educate, inspire and enable healthy, active lifestyles and community cohesion.
