AITPM Members and Non-Members are invited to join us for our AITPM NSW State Branch Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting will be held via Zoom and you will need a camera and microphone to be able to participate.
The formal meeting will be followed by presentation from guest speaker Tara McCarthy (Deputy Secretary, Safety, Environment and Regulation for Transport for NSW) on an integrated, multi model, risk based approach to safety, security and emergency management.

Guest Speaker: Tara McCarthy | MBA GAICD FIML
Tara is leading a unified approach and response to safety, environment, asset management and regulation at Transport for NSW. She plays a vital role in underpinning Transport for NSW’s Future Transport 2056 strategy to deliver globally-recognised, safe and sustainable outcomes for the people of NSW.
Tara has a long and distinguished career working across government, not for profit and commercial sectors. Before joining Transport, she was Chief Executive of Local Government NSW where she brought together all local government, supporting and advocating for them so they could continue to meet the needs of local communities.
As the Executive Director in Point to Point Transport, Tara successfully led the establishment of the new regulator.\
Tara has extensive operational and strategic leadership experience, from leading billion-dollar programs in Transport to leading as the Deputy Commissioner of the NSW SES. Tara continues to bring her passion for safety to everything she does since she commenced her career as a Paramedic.
