About this event
Join the AITPM NSW Branch at Club Parramatta, 2 Macquarie Street, Parramatta on Thursday 20 October for a one-day (8.30am to 4.30pm) seminar style event.
Calling graduates, anyone new to our industry or anyone wanting a refresher.
This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced industry professionals and obtain a solid grounding in some fundamental traffic and transport topics. The Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management is an association of people practising in these fields, and the 2022 Transport Practice Workshop will provide an excellent opportunity for AITPM members, traffic engineers, transport and land use planners and elected representatives to:
- Increase their knowledge;
- Exchange ideas and research;
- Develop professional networks;
- Enhance their skills in traffic engineering and transport planning; and
- Keep up to date with the latest techniques and guidelines.
Join us in-person on Thursday 20 October 2022 for a one-day (8.30am to 4.30pm) seminar style event. Invest in your professional development and meet some industry peers. Each topic will run for about thirty minutes, so we'll cover the fundamentals and have time for questions.
At the workshop you will learn about new perspectives on road safety, parking standards and design, traffic signals design, sustainable transport and transport modelling. There will also be a thought-provoking panel discussion on topics significant to traffic and transport practitioners.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
