About this event
AITPM has partnered with the Committee for Sydney and City of Sydney to deliver a public event available via live stream.
Professor Marco te Brömmelstroet will speak about the provocative ideas proposed in the book Movement: how to take back our streets and transform our lives, co-authored with journalist Thalia Verdake. Movement reflects on the apparent successes of Dutch cities and challenges us to rethink our ideas about transport to put people at the centre of urban design.
Following the keynote address, Marco will share the stage for a panel discussion moderated by the Committee for Sydney's Estelle Grech with:
- Sara Stace, Director of Cities at WSP,
- Anna Bradley, Executive Director Active Transport at Transport for NSW
- Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr George Greiss
