About this event
The AITPM SA Branch and Young Professional Network (YPN) is proud to bring to you the second Traffic Modelling Workshop for 2022 in association with the Transport Modelling Network (TMN). Proudly hosted and generously sponsored by BE Engineering Solutions (BEES), the workshop and Q&A session, will be led by Senior Traffic Engineer, Peter Herpich, from Network Management Services, Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT).
SCATS Summaries prepared by the Department for Infrastructure and Transport SA Network Management Services form one of the key sources of data in understanding signal operation and also the development of base models in SIDRA and other modelling packages.
Join us to hear from Peter Herpich | Department for Infrastructure and Transport SA.
If you have ever had any questions or want to find out more about SCATS Summaries, Traffic Signal Operation and how it all relates back to traffic modelling, this is an ideal opportunity to clear up the confusion!
This event is aimed at aspiring, entry-level engineers or professionals new to SIDRA or traffic modelling, this workshop will cover the basics of the SCATS Summaries, common issues that are found in models prepared for the Department and provide an open Q&A forum.
And of course, as with all other AITPM events, there will be an opportunity to network with like-minded professionals!
The workshop will be held on Friday 18 November 2022 from 9:30am - 11:30am (ACDT) at the BE Engineering Solutions office at 19 Young Street, Adelaide. The workshop will be delivered as a hybrid event allowing for those who cannot make it in person to attend via MS Teams.
Some light morning tea and delicious coffee will be sourced from Elementary Coffee and is sponsored by BE Engineering Solutions.
