The AITPM YP SA Branch recognises the desire for social interaction during these challenging times. While you may be stuck at home wondering what Netflix show to binge on next, we will be facilitating an online ‘Jackbox Party Games’ session as a fitting distraction.
The YP Committee will be streaming this through Zoom, to provide you the opportunity to connect with your YPN peers, or just to sit back and have a laugh for a couple of hours.
The ‘Jackbox Party Pack 2’ contains a variety of different games that might ask you to draw weird doodles, write the best inside joke, or answer hilarious trivia questions. Games include:
- Fibbage, Fool your friends with your lies, avoid theirs, and find the (usually outrageous) truth.
- Quiplash, a battle of wits and wittiness! Just use your phone to answer simple prompts.
- Bidiots, The absurd art auction game where you draw on your phone or computer. Outbid your opponents for weird art pieces – drawn by players themselves.
Winners for each game will be awarded with prizes!
Players play using their phones, tablets, or even computers as controllers. In the instance that a game room is full, spectators can also join and affect some games by playing as audience members. Players join by simply using the web browser on their smartphone or a computer. Note that for this event you will need to be in the Zoom stream to see the host’s screen, while still having access to a web browser to join the game.
If you have any queries, please contact James Arnold, (jarnold@mitchamcouncil.sa.gov.au) or via phone on 0450128413. Further details will be provided upon confirmation of registration and in the lead up to the event.
