Presenters
Marie Landingin | Senior Consultant (Transport Advisory) | Veitch Lister Consulting
Marie is a Senior Consultant (Transport Advisory) at Veitch Lister Consulting, with four years of transport planning experience across Australia and New Zealand. She has worked on nationwide safety programs, disaster response business cases, major infrastructure projects, and indigenous stakeholder engagement, in both regional and urban areas. At VLC, Marie contributes to public transport and strategic advisory projects, such as for the Yarraville level crossing in Victoria, Southeast Queensland's public transport network, and Canberra's light rail and bus networks. Passionate about the future-readiness of our industry, she has also held leadership roles within the New Zealand Planning Institute and NZ Women's Infrastructure Network. Marie studied Urban Planning at the University of Auckland and recently moved to Melbourne from New Zealand.
Evi Janse de Jonge | Active Transport Officer | Merri-bek City Council
Evi is an Active Transport Officer at Merri-bek City Council. She manages transport projects with a focus on cycling and pedestrian infrastructure. Other duties include contract management, writing Council reports and community engagement.
Previously, she worked in private consultancy as a transport planner and designer where she was involved with the design of pop-up bike lanes. She completed a graduate program at this company and got to work in different areas of transport: engineering, design, analytics and planning.
Evi completed the Master of Urban Planning and Design at Monash University in 2020. Prior to that she lived and studied in The Netherlands, riding her bike everywhere.
Cassie Min | Transport Planner | Department of Transport and Planning VIC
Cassie is a transport planner at the Department of Transport and Planning with over five years of experience across the public and private sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and is currently undertaking a Master of Transport and Mobility Planning at Monash University, supported by the Victorian Government’s Women in Transport Leadership Development Scholarship. Cassie’s expertise spans transport planning, traffic engineering, movement and place, and project management. In her role at DTP, she provides transport planning advice for precincts and activity centres across Victoria, with a focus on delivering coordinated networks and integrated transport and land use outcomes. Her work is driven by a passion for helping to create sustainable and efficient transport systems that enhance the way we live, work and connect.
