Our YPN Young Professional Career Webinar will showcase the range of career opportunities available in the public sector for students and early career professionals. If you are a student, recent graduate or young professional this event is not to be missed!
The WA YPN are hosting a Young Professional Career Webinar dedicated to students and early-career professionals. During the webinar you will hear from three speakers from the public sector, one who will tell you about their experience in a graduate program and two HR representatives who will give you hot tips on landing a spot in a state government graduate program.
Our speakers are Aleisha Santoriello, Rebecca Curry and Natasha Sumegi.
After hearing from the three speakers, there will be time for attendees to answer any questions they may have.
Aleisha Santoriello
Public Transport Authority
Aleisha is the Graduate and Development Programs Coordinator at the Public Transport Authority (PTA). Aleisha will provide an overview of PTA’s Graduate Program and Vacation Student Program. In her talk she will share useful tips to help you stand out when submitting an application for these programs. Aleisha will also be promoting current openings in PTA’s Vacation Student Program which will be advertised in August.
Rebecca Curry
Public Transport Authority
Rebecca is currently a Senior Service Planner at the Public Transport Authority. Rebecca graduated Curtin University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning and started the PTA graduate program in 2012 as an urban and regional planning graduate with rotations in the Regional Town and School Bus Services and Transperth Service Development teams. Rebecca will give insight to her experience in the PTA’s graduate program.
Natasha Sumegi
Main Roads Western Australia
Natasha is the Workforce Development Consultant for Main Roads Western Australia and is responsible for overseeing the organisation's graduate program. Students who have completed a University Degree in Civil Engineering are eligible to apply for the Engineering Graduate Program. The program lasts for three years, and during the program you will also receive training that is focused around work readiness, technical and commercial, and leadership. Joining the program will provide you with an opportunity to learn from experienced technical experts across a range of engineering functions.
