What do you do in your day job?

As a consultant my work is varied but with my main focus is traffic impact assessments.

Why and how did you get into transport? 

I needed a change and traffic and transport suited my skill set.

Why do you volunteer for AITPM and how did you first get involved?

I enjoy the interaction with other professionals in traffic and transport that I did not encounter in my day-to-day activities. I joined the SA Committee in 1993 and this is my second stint on the committee.

What advice would you have for others interested in volunteering with AITPM?

You can contribute to an important industry. I was fortunate to also serve on the then National Council for 10 years and was able to provide input to where AITPM is now.
