SA Tech Forum - Road Safety Systems and Solutions – Go Behind the Scenes

SA Branch and Roadside Services and Solutions (RSS) hosted a technical seminar entitled “Road Safety Systems and Solutions – Go Behind the Scenes.”

The participants visited RSS’s manufacturing plant in Adelaide north and went for a tour around the plant to learn about how those traffic control devices and roadside protection devices are being designed, manufactured, tested and installed properly. It was a wonderful session and enjoyed by a small but enthusiastic group of AITPM members and friends. Of special interest was the information on the development and testing (in Europe) of terrorism mitigation and energy absorbing bollard technology. Big thanks to our host, who provided in-depth technical information and good hospitality!
