The AITPM NSW/ACT Branch is pleased to invite you to attend a technical webinar which showcases three topics with a NSW focus that were delivered at the Online Conference Series 2021. It will be an exciting discussion on active transport, Sydney’s next new airport and improving safety for women travelling by public transport at night.
Hear from leading practitioners in their respective fields followed by a Q + A session.

Sara Stace | WSP
Sara is a city shaper with an extensive background in cities, land use and urban transport. Currently Director of Cities at WSP, she previously led Walking and Cycling Strategy at Transport for NSW, and chaired Cycling and Walking Australia New Zealand (CWANZ). Sara has written 20 publications, including for the United Nations and the Australian Government, ranging from the National Urban Policy to the National Urban Design Protocol and various state and local transport strategies.

Michael Jensen | Sydney Metro
Michael is an expert transport professional who has delivered customer-centred designs, business cases and service changes. With a passion for transport infrastructure and projects, Michael possesses a balance of experience across planning and delivering all transport modes. Currently leading customer, product and transport outcomes through the design and delivery of the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport project.
Samantha Phillips | Sydney Metro
Samantha is the Deputy Executive Director, Customer & Service Planning at Sydney Metro. Samantha was on the leadership team for both the Metro West and Metro Western Sydney Airport Final Business Cases where she led a team to define the scope of the projects in consultation with a wide range of stakeholders including government agencies, councils and community while ensuring these major city-shaping projects were fully integrated with the broader transport network, existing and emerging places and precincts.
Elizabeth Muscat | Cardno
Elizabeth is a Transport Planner at Cardno with over five years of experience in transport planning and infrastructure projects from rural town active transport plans to regional strategic planning. She does this while utilising her GIS skills to communicate ideas, clarify complex analytics and improve decision making. In 2020, Elizabeth successfully delivered a proof of concept for an innovative dataset that aimed at improving safety after dark for women, particularly in catchments served by public transport.
