This event focused on the theme “Emerging Technologies and Innovation in Transport”, focused on the future of transport in NSW and Australia, including topics such as Electric Vehicles, Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, Micromobility and Mobility as a Service.
How can you as a planner or policymaker benefit from the use of Activity Based Models that many Australian State Government Transport Authorities are currently developing? These models are different to current strategic models that underpin infrastructure and policy planning across the country in a number of different ways. This event brings together international speakers from the USA and New Zealand who provide their view on how these new tools can add value for policymakers and planners based on their own hands on experience. This recent webinar worked to cut through technical complexity, focusing instead on outcomes for planning.
The NSW EPN hosted a guided tour of the Sydney Bus Museum followed by a ride on one of the buses. The tour included access to the invaluable collection of Sydney’s buses and tells a part of Sydney's transport history.

The AITPM SA Branch and Australasian College of Road Safety (ACRS) SA Chapter to mark National Road Safety Week 2024 hosted the National Road Safety Half Day Seminar! With a packed program featuring speakers from academia and practice, this opportunity allowed attendees to hear about the work and developments within the road safety industry, to network with like-minded colleagues and to show your support for road safety! Road Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility! So, let’s work Towards Zero Together in 2024!
Hosted at the GHD office, attendees had the opportunity to hear from leaders across the industry, who shared some of the positive steps being taken to reduce road deaths and ways in which industry to work together in improving road safety.
