How can you as a planner or policymaker benefit from the use of Activity Based Models that many Australian State Government Transport Authorities are currently developing? These models are different to current strategic models that underpin infrastructure and policy planning across the country in a number of different ways. This event brings together international speakers from the USA and New Zealand who provide their view on how these new tools can add value for policymakers and planners based on their own hands on experience. This recent webinar worked to cut through technical complexity, focusing instead on outcomes for planning.
The NSW EPN hosted a guided tour of the Sydney Bus Museum followed by a ride on one of the buses. The tour included access to the invaluable collection of Sydney’s buses and tells a part of Sydney's transport history.

With a packed program featuring speakers from academia and practice, this opportunity allowed attendees to hear about the work and developments within the road safety industry, to network with like-minded colleagues and to show your support for road safety!
